4/10/10 - Defense Leads Way Against Hawks

Oakland, CA- Hope International closed their regular season on Saturday on the road at Holy Names.  The Royals defeated the Hawks 3-1 (28-30, 30-24, 30-20, 30-20).  Junior Brett Massetti had 14 kills and 9 blocks while Sophomore Kaimi Guerreiro had 12 kills and 16 digs.

Senior Alex Figueiredo buried 10 kills.  Senior Cory Hindemit hammered out 7 kills while producing 5 blocks himself.

Junior Andrew Marques passed out 37 assists while Junior Danilo Pereira dished out 18 assists.

Senior Noah Casaquit had 17 digs.

Full match stats are not available at this time.

The Royals will play for the final time at home this season when they play an exhibition with Long Beach City on Tuesday at 7:30 pm. The match will serve as Senior Night for Casaquit, Figueiredo, and Hindemit.
