3/16/10 - Sea Lions Mightier Than Royals
By Stephanie Coats
San Diego, CA- NAIA No. 11 Point Loma Nazarene lived up to their ranking by proving to be a tough opponent for the Royals. While the Sea Lions would win 9-0, that did not keep the Royals from putting all their effort into each match.
Freshman Nathan Deghi showed that he was not going to let his singles match against Trent Brown go lightly. Deghi took a game off Brown and battled to add more wins to his name. However, Brown would recover to win the match, 2-0 (6-1, 6-0).
Deghi’s teammates also fought hard against their own opponents but no other Royal would be able to earn a game win.
