3/2/10 - Biola Eagles Bring “A” Game Against Royals

Fullerton, CA- GSAC competitor Biola came out swinging against the Royals, and HIU could not answer the Eagles’ dominance. The Royals would fall 9-0.

Freshman Greg Cobian managed to steal a game win off of David Mossman, but could not nab any other wins in the set or the match. Cobian would lose 2-0 (6-1, 6-0).

Fellow Freshman Christian Booher also won a game against his opponent, Dan Westman. Booher too would have trouble capitalizing on his game win and would eventually lose the match as Cobian did, 2-0 (6-1, 6-0).

While the Royals remain shut out of wins and sport a 0-7, 0-4 GSAC record, Biola improves to 2-7, 1-6 GSAC.  On Friday, the Royals will take on Fresno Pacific at Cal State Fullerton. Match play begins at 2:00 pm.
